How to Tell If a Steal a Brainrot Trade Is Fair

Updated 3 November 2026

Short answer

Compare what each side earns per second after mutations. If the two totals are within about 10% of each other, the trade is fair. If one side earns much more, that side wins.

Step 1: Use income, not rarity

A brainrot's real value on your base is its income per second. A Secret with low income can be worth less than a Brainrot God with high income.

Look up each brainrot's base income in our value list, or let the trade calculator do it.

Step 2: Apply the mutation

Multiply by the mutation: Gold ×1.25, Diamond ×1.5, Rainbow ×10, event mutations up to ×14. A Rainbow on the other side can flip a trade completely.

Step 3: Check payback

If you're giving cash, compare it with how long the brainrot takes to earn that cash back. A brainrot that pays itself back in a few minutes is a great buy. One that takes hours is not.

When income isn't everything

Some brainrots trade above their income because they're limited, popular or needed for a rebirth. That's hype value, and it can drop fast after an update.

Check that a trade makes sense on income first. If it only makes sense because of hype, accept that you're paying extra.

Stay safe

Only trade inside the game's own trading system. Never trade for Robux or real money, and ignore anyone promising 'free brainrots' through links.
